Comprised of two 802.11ax Wi-Fi modules, each of which can be configured as the router or satellite, this tri-band wireless mesh network kit is designed to deliver up to 10,756 Mb/s throughput over the 2.4 GHz and dual 5 GHz bands with compatible devices. With that much bandwidth, you can simultaneously watch 4K videos on multiple devices while playing games on another. The second 5 GHz band can also be used as a dedicated frequency for the ZenWiFi Pro XT12 modules to communicate with each other, giving you full use of the 5 GHz and 2.4 GHz bandwidths. The two modules provide up to 6000 square feet of coverage, and you can expand it by adding another module to the system. Wireless mesh networks operate using a single network ID (SSID), and connected devices automatically switch to the modules with the strongest signal so you can seamlessly move from room to room without interrupting your signal. Other features include 2.5 Gigabit WAN and LAN ports to take full advantage of multi-Gig internet services and devices. You can use the ASUS mobile app to quickly set up and maintain your network, including setting up a guest login for visitors. The ASUS ZenWiFi Pro XT12 also supports voice commands through Amazon Alexa devices.
